What You Should Know
Every insurance plan is different. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your acupuncture benefits.
You can usually find a customer service number on the back of your insurance card.
When calling your insurer, ask:

Does my plan cover acupuncture?

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Is pre-approval required?

Are there any limits (number of visits or dollar amount per year)?

Coverage is often partial. Patients are responsible for any portion not covered.
We can only direct bill one insurance company per visit. If you have dual coverage, we’ll bill the primary plan and provide a receipt for secondary submission.
Direct billing is offered as a courtesy. If a claim is denied or delayed (e.g. due to portal issues or missing info), the patient remains responsible for full payment.
To enable direct billing, please complete eClaim-Patient-Consent-Form, and bring it to your appointment or email it in advance.
