Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "qi" (pronounced "chee"). The underlying philosophy of acupuncture is rooted in the concept that disruptions or imbalances in the flow of qi along pathways called meridians can lead to various health issues. By inserting needles into these specific points, acupuncturists aim to restore the balance of qi, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being. Acupuncture is commonly used to address a wide range of conditions, including pain management, stress reduction, digestive disorders, and various other health concerns.
